Hubbub goes fishing

Last week was hubbub’s big fishing trip. We turned up at the jetty sporting matching yellow ponchos and hats to protect us from the elements – though it was a beautiful sunny day so goodness knows what Dave the fisherman was thinking as we climbed aboard! Mo took to it especially well, making her first catch before the rest of us even had cast our lines. Patrick followed suit with a baby crab. For the next hour or so it looked like the rest of us would be stuck eating seaweed, though a bumper catch at the last minute meant that no-one left empty handed. Dave taught us some old Irish sea shanties over drinks at the pub, and we sang all the way home. Thanks to Anna for organising such a lovely and memorable day!
